Fuimos hoy de urgencia con nuestra hija, se había clavado el brackets en el lateral y no podía cerrar la boca ni dejar de llorar por el dolor, según llegamos la atendieron, por suerte solo fué soltarle la carne pillada y arreglado, además la pusieron un tope para evitar que le pase de nuevo hasta el término de nuestras vacaciones. I can’t recommend Manuel more highly as a dentist and I was extremely upset that he decided to move to another country to set up his practice. I have had extremely bad experiences in the past and up until I met Manuel. He restored my faith in dentistry to the extent that I decided to have braces fitted while I was in my 40ies. I couldn’t have been happier with the service and result that I achieved. Manuel is a true professional with a very personal touch. I think that I’m going to find it hard to find another dentist that I trust as much as I do Manuel, Tenerife has gained a true asset to dentistry.

Well where do I begin regarding Manuel? He’s been our family dentist from the offset twelve years ago when he first joined The Iffley practice and we will miss him greatly. Not only has he proved that he’s a first rate dentist but a wonderful friend too. He always greeted you with a gorgeous smile and handshake that instantly put you at ease. Manuel is a very caring and compassionate dentist, ensuring that he gives you the best treatment possible, plus explaining in great detail what he’s needed to do. His gentle character speaks volumes, checking many times that you are okay whilst you are having difficult treatment and reassuring you that the treatment is going well. We were so sad when Manuel gave us his leaving date to return to his homeland and his parents, taking with him his delightful wife (Rachel) also Little Manny and Isobel. Manuel has been my dentist in Oxford since he arrived at the Iffley practice and it just won’t be the same without his beaming smile and welcoming greeting of «My Friend». Ich und meine Familie (Frau und zwei Kinder) waren in den letzten 8 oder 9 Jahren bei Manuel in Behandlung.Er hat uns immer freundlich begruesst und gut bahandelt. Soweit ich es einschaetzen kann, haben unsere Kinder keinerlei Angst bei den Terminen, was groesstenteils auf die grosse Einfuehligkeit Manuels zurueckzufuehren ist. Es ist schade, dass es nun aus Oxford weggegangen ist und unser Familie wird ihn sehr vermissen.

I have had Manuel as my Dentist now for a few years (I moved over to him after Sonia left), and can honestly say that he has helped me over come the fear of going to the dentist, and I actually enjoy going. When I did have any work done, it was done with full explanation and consideration of how apprehensive I was feeling. Any work that was performed was not done hastily (as previously experienced at other dentists!) and was considerate to both the cost of treatment and pain involved! This was a refreshing change, and very welcome! Over the years, Manuel has become a friend also, which only further build the bond between dentist and patient. He is also brilliant with my children who have both learnt to appreciate and respect Manuel, and let him do his work without any issue (or tears!). I had been very nervous when receiving dental treatment, previous dentists had resorted to headphones and blindfold in an effort to treat me. Manuel doesn’t just look after your teeth, he looks after the whole person. He took the time to get to know me, learn about my anxieties and build up my trust in him. I have been seeing Manuel for many years and I could not have been happier with my experiences at his dental practice. He is a pleasant man and takes great care to ensure his patients are comfortable. Some might think he was just a dentist but consider this, I live 50 miles away from Oxford and was happy to travel that distance for my check ups. Had an appointment today for the first time in 2 years and I haven’t been going because I saw them as an inconvenience but today I’m left feeling satisfied with the way I was treated and the service I received. Manuel’s attention to detail meant that my chipped tooth was completely unrecognisable by the time he was finished and looked like it was before, in addition to this his passion and warm heart mean that it felt like it was done with a great deal of care and meant that I could trust him in what he was doing. I fully recommend anyone who needs dental treatment to go to Manuel to get the best treatment.

Hello My four children and I have been seeing Manuel in Oxford for many years now even though we no longer live in the city. We travel in to see him because he is so amazing. He is totally fabulous with children and nervous patients and we highly recommend him. Well where too start Manuel, i think my Nan and gramps would agree with me here when i say every trip to the dentist i enjoyed, i have been going to him since i was a kid, he made it a pleasure to go then, always kind and gentle. Hes a great dentist (The best in my books), a great person, a Great friend. My Nan does not like to go to the dentist one bit i tried to get her to go see Manuel and she never did kept putting the dentist off and every time i would tell her Manuel is not like the others hes better, he will put it at easy and take your worry away from your teeth. So would I recommend Manuel to people there is no dealt in my mind to answer that because your be a fool not to see Manuel. Have a good move and keep smiling Manuel!! Manuel was my dentist for a couple of years whilst he was practicing in the UK. I was always very happy with the treatment I received and never felt like he was trying to pressurise me into having unnecessary treatment. He’s a very patient and gentle dentist as well as being a lovely friendly guy.

Manuel is a lovely dentist and the best we have had. He always has a smile, excellent advice and is great with our children. They look forward to being greeted with «Hello my friends». Manuel really takes his time and never rushes his appointments. Over the years I have had extractions, fillings, veneers and crowns and have always been pleased with the result. I also have a heart condition which means I have to have different anaesthetic; Manuel was able to accommodate my needs easily. My parents were the first to recommend Manuel. Since then I joined with my children and husband. My sister and her husband and children joined. Then my in laws and my Aunty and Uncle joined. Basically everyone who has Manuel as their dentist recommends him to others. Great dentist. Highly recommended. X

I have been Manuel’s patient the whole 12 years he has been practising at Iffley Dental Practise. I am so sorry and sad to lose my most excellent dentist, but I understand that this talented and wonderful young man must move on with his career. And whilst in the UK he has picked up excellent further qualifications (DDPH, MSc, DPhil and Diploma in Sport Dentistry). My own story is that I was diagnosed having Amelogenesis imperfecta (AI) as a child, when my permanent teeth appeared. It is an inherited defect that interrupts the formation of tooth enamel, and very common in the area of Finland where I come from. Over the years (I was 54 when I came under Manuel’s care), various dentist had recommended veneers, crowns, this and that, but no one had suggested an overall long term planned care. Manuel did this from our first ordinary annual check appointment. So over the years my molars were protected, veneers used sparingly, plans taken gently. Manuel’s philosophy that it is best to start small and move to a larger removal of your own teeth as it is so important for you to retain your own teeth and bite. This is a perfect example of his professional attitude to your dental care and wellbeing. He does not do shortcuts. He cares. Additionally he is a delightful, pleasant, polite, and humorous man. It was always a pleasure to go to an appointment, and you knew you were going to be well looked after. Even when I moved out of Oxford I remained his patient as I could not wish for a better dentist. I hope your new venture is a huge success, I will recommend you whole heartedly to anyone. You deserve the best future. I will also miss you sorely. I am sure I find my way to La Palma in not a too distant future. Hi Manuel Hope everything’s going well. We will miss you. Here is a review for your website: Manuel has been my dentist since he first moved to Oxford. After I married he also became my husband’s dentist, and then our children’s dentist. By this point we lived 10 miles away, but because of Manuel we continued to travel into the city. He is a very special person. Many children are nervous when visiting the dentist (I was one of them when I was young), so I know how important it is for them to be relaxed. Manuel has always been brilliant at putting my children at ease – with a beaming smile and a “hello my friends!” as soon as we enter his room any anxiety is soon gone. He always talks to them in a warm, friendly way and explains what he is doing, unlike many other dentists. My children have never complained about seeing the dentist, and my 10-year-old daughter says that “apart from daddy, Manuel is the nicest man I know. He is amazing”. Manuel really is one of a kind. Tandarts Manuel Perez Padron is voor de laatste twaalf jaar mijn tandarts geweest in Oxford. Hij is vrijuit de beste tandarts die ik tot nu toe gehad heb. Naar de tandarts gaan is voor mij altijd een nerveus gebeuren geweest, voornamelijk omdat er in het verleden van alles is mis gegaan met mijn tanden en hoewel ik nog steeds niet met plezier naar de tandarts ga, heeft Manuel mijn nervositeit een stuk minder gemaakt en ga ik altijd zonder vervelende gevoelens de behandelkamer in. Manuels enthousiasme is erg aanstekelijk, hij begroet je altijd met een grote lach, legt uit wat hij van plan is om te gaan doen en waarom hij dit doet. Manuel is een perfectionist als het gaat om de behandeling van je tanden, of het nu gaat om het vullen van je tanden of het plaatsen van een kroon. Als er verschillende behandelingen mogelijk zijn (bijvoorbeeld een witte of een zilveren vulling), dan legt hij deze uit en geeft je ook de kosten van de verschillende behandelingen zodat je uiteindelijk zelf kunt beslissen welke behandeling je wilt. Mijn drie kinderen van 3, 6 and 8, gaan ook met veel plezier naar de tandarts en kunnen haast niet wachten voordat ze in de behandelstoel kunnen gaan zitten. I have been with Manuel for a very very long time. He has been the best dentist from 3 of them. All my kids are really comfortable with him. He made us feel very welcome. We will be very sad seeing him leaving. I wish him all the best in Spain. Thank you Manuel.

My whole family has been very fortunate to have Manuel as our dentist for the past 12 years and we will all miss him so much when he leaves Iffley to set up his new practice in La Palma. Dr Manuel Padron is a really excellent dentist. I have had complicated dental work done over the years and his clinical practice is always reliable, conscientious and thorough. His manner is so pleasant and warm – it’s always a pleasure to see him. I think we will all miss him at Rose Hill!

I have been seeing Manuel for many years and I could not have been happier with my experiences at his dental practice. He is a pleasant man and takes great care to ensure his patients are comfortable. He makes every effort to avoid causing pain and seems to be truly affected when inevitable discomfort is felt in his patients. He will be missed a huge amount and La Palma is very fortunate to be gaining a wonderful dentist and, most of all, a really nice man.

Dear Manuel, Thank you so much for seeing me at short notice yesterday, giving up your lunch break, and spending over an hour with me. I can assure you that it was well worth the two hour drive from my home in Wales. You explained the necessary dental work and various options extremely well (much better, I might add, than the consultation I was given by Kreativ Dental in Budapest back in early February! I will not be returning to them). I look forward very much to receiving the proposed treatment plan from your colleagues in Tenerife – I am hoping to have the work done as soon as possible – perhaps in June? We have been seeing Manuel for a few years now and will be very sad to see him go and would love to see him again one day in LaPalma.He is the most gentle dentist we have ever had kind and caring and always a smile, although we are in our late 60s we still have a nice smile thanks to him.Good Luck Manuel enjoy the sunshine. Excellent dental service delivered with enthusiasm

Manuel has been my dentist for many years, as well as my husband’s for the last few years and my son, after he was born in 2009. We could not wish for a better dentist and he will be sadly missed by all of us. His positive and happy attitude rubs off on everyone around him and although no-one enjoys going to the dentist, he has made it a stress-free experience for all my family. He is fantastic with children and as such, my son has never been afraid of going to the dentist and is always careful to do a good job of cleaning his teeth as he knows Manuel will be proud! Manuel is a true professional and a lovely person and we wish him lots of happiness in his new venture. Our loss is the people of La Palma’s gain! Thanks for everything. We hope to come and see your lovely island sometime! xx

I’ve always been very nervous over the years about going to the dentist,but after being introduced to Manuel through my husband Mark, was pleased to say that I found an amazing,caring thoughtful and happy dentist. Manuel makes u feel comfortable and explains everything to u before anything and takes away any fears u May have.he’s done and been an amazing dentist with my family and I do t think we will find a other one like him. A very good and thorough dentist nothing is too much trouble I will miss him!

Like most people I always hated going to the dentist, for years the best part about it was sitting watching the fish tank in the waiting room while waiting to be called in. This changed when Manuel started at Iffley Dental, he has a warm, friendly and kind nature and instantly makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. From check ups to dental procedures he always answered any questions with a keen attention to detail to make sure I knew exactly what he was going to do and the reasons why, as well as what may need to be done in the future. From simple fillings to full extractions i was made to feel at ease and as comfortable as you can be during that time. This always put me at rest and stopped me fearing the dentist chair like I did when I was younger as well as leaving with a smile on my face. I have been lucky enough to know Manuel as a dentist, as a neighbour and above all as a friend, and to whoever may read this review please know that you are very lucky to be in such safe, professional, skilled and experienced hands. We will miss you my friend and your place at Iffley Dental is to us one that can not be filled.

An amazing dentis, never really liked going to the dentist when I was much younger in till we met Manuel, he always made us feel welcome with a saying I will never forget «thank you my friend for coming» he will always honest with us. Gutted he’s leaving will now be moving dentist as I wanted to move to a closer one, the only reason we didn’t move before hand is because of how brilliant he really is good luck and hop to see you very soon
